Haven’t played Malifaux since 1st ed, but really enjoyed the game and mechanic.

I’ve been wanting to get into Malifaux for a while. A new edition seems a good time to do it, their plastics are so pretty and I’ve heard good stuff about the game system.

I just recently got all the 2nd edition books… but still haven’t found players in my area. I like this hiring the master and then building a gang around the keywords. Looking forward to this.

That terrain is really fantastic. Early renders looked good but seeing the full interiors really puts it over the top. I would love to get into Malifaux with 3E if they do a “starter” buy-in box or bundle with a bit of that terrain packed in.

Really looking forward to a streamlined Malifaux 3ed. Been getting more difficult in 2ed to keep on top of all your opponents particular quirks, this should help.

I think the condensing of all the conditions should really help, but I am slightly concerned about what it means for my armoured constructs (I ‘m a Hoffman player) as there is no Armor condition in M3E, just Shielded, which reduces when damage is blocked and ends at the end of the activation… Of course, it could well be that Armor isn’t a Condition and I’m worrying for nothing! Looking forward to it though!

I’m a bit disappointed in Beasts of War that it’s taken this long to report on the Third Edition announcement. Wyrd announced it over a week ago. I am looking forward to it though. Only recently started playing Second Edition, but a Third Edition will cut down the amount I need to spend on books, at least initially!
