Hi all, I had a thread up in the old forums thought I’d revisit it here. I am working with Vanguard miniatures on a rule set for their 3mm range. It is called Dominion the wars of Tusculum Nova and we have already released a Quick play rule book that is available for free. We are currently play testing the planned main rule book and are at Public Beta V0.4. If you guys could offer some feedback that would be both awesome and appreciated. Thought I’d add a few pics for flavour 🙂 We also have a Facebook page dedicated to the game. https://www.facebook.com/groups/164993600752337/
Thanks for your time.
Craig

September 25, 2019 at 9:03 pm #1439902Hi cfen031,
I am very interested in this game and I downloaded the rules from the Vanguard site for a nominal fee, but they were not very up-to-date with the army lists w.r.t. the miniature range.
Are the rules and army lists on your link “official”?
Best regards,
NR
September 25, 2019 at 9:45 pm #1439920@nightrunner I sent the rules writer a message on the Vanguard rules site that you had posted

September 25, 2019 at 10:53 pm #1439954Thanks @torros,
The rules on the Vanguard site are the Quick play rules that we released alongside the Novan Elites a while back.
A price has been placed on the QPR as they are the official rules as it stands and the revenue helps develop the range.
The links above are to the Public Beta rules for the ‘proper’ rulebook. We are currently on V0.77 with V0.77.1 just round the corner after a few playtests. In answer to your question, it is fully official. Join us on Facebook if you like that kind of thing or post up your questions up here.

Just downloaded the rules v0.77. I noticed straight away that the damage has been removed – so are all stands with 1 wound?
Also there are some troops that are not in the range like Praetorians?
September 26, 2019 at 7:21 am #1440008Yes, damage tracking was really slowing down the game. I was often running out of markers to track it, even with D6. Moving everything to 1 damage allows for bigger battles. Stalkers still have damage.
For Praetorians it’s fine just to use normal Affray Elites with a snazzy paint job. They are simply veteran Affray.
