January 31, 2020 at 7:11 pm #1481640Hey guys, go another miniature done this week for our 13 Days = 13 Hours game.
This one is a Spectre Miniatures MENA one, again this one was done with contrast followed by layer paints and went from primed to finish in about 2 hours. The live video of it is on the Sitreppodcast page if you are interested in seeing the colours used.
Have a great weekend and happy hobbying!

February 1, 2020 at 9:41 am #1481843February 1, 2020 at 10:44 am #1481857January I painted this little lot:
I’m pretty chuffed, if you include barricades and objective markers (but not measuring sticks) that’s 72 minis painted in a month. Huzzah!
February 1, 2020 at 10:45 pm #1482032Im working on a large Blood Angels 30k army. Currently just finalising the paint scheme and magnetising some Contemptors. I’ve set up a Project as well if anyone wants to take a look.
February 2, 2020 at 12:45 am #1482074I decided in late December I would try not to procrastinate in January.
So i finally got round to painting an Age of Sigmar army.
I started on 1st January and just finished the last clanrats. It may not be beautiful, it may not be particularly competitive, and it’s certainly not finished-finished, but it’s game legal… and almost exclusively old skool minis in a weird colour palette.
February 3, 2020 at 1:16 pm #1482652I’ve finished two more warbands for Godtear. Only 2 to go.
I also finished this objective marker I got from Asset Drop I’ve been calling “The Artifact” (No one knows who made it, where it came from, or how old it is. It doesn’t show up on scanners and it’s always cold to the touch. Electrical equipment tends to malfunction around it, and if you spend too long near it you’ll get a headache and strange dreams.) This bugger came on a 40mm square resin base about 5-8mm thick that needed to be cut out and sanded down to fit a round base. That was not fun and why the base is a bit of a mess.
I think it might be time to buy a new light box. I have something akin to this one from GreenStuffWorld but the glue holding everything together is failing and it doesn’t seem to like superglue much. Its currently held together by Superglue and bulldog clips. I can’t afford a full proper light box, and space is at a premium so I like the foldable nature (Although I always keep it up) and I don’t want anything too big. Anyone got any recommendations for alternatives or cost effective upgrades?
