January 23, 2020 at 9:47 am #1477356Can’t see the miniature in the game beyond basecoat, so went with:
Miniature:
* Black Primer
* Army Painter’s dark green Angel Green basecoat / glaze.
* Secret Weapon Miniature’s Green Black wash. You can also use Army Painter’s Green Ink.
* Army Painter’s light green Green Goblin as an edge highlight / wet drybrush over the entire figure.
* Army Painter’s yellow-green Poisonous Cloud to highlight the face, cowl, and hands.Base: Secret Weapon Miniature’s Bonefield base.
* Brown brush-on primer.
* Army Painter’s ochre Skeleton Bone basecoat.
* Secret Weapon Miniature’s brown Dark Sepia wash. You can also use Army Painter’s brown Strong Tone Ink.
* Black rim.
* Cut off base, leaving a “tab” under the miniature. Shave off tab and prime brown.
* Pin with Army Painter hand drill.January 23, 2020 at 9:17 pm #1477584Been having some fun with some old models and some new paints. Almost completely contrast paints helped me rattle through these in under a week
Projects here for anyone interested:
January 24, 2020 at 2:16 pm #1478000Hi all, I’m working on my Luftwaffen-Felddivision army for Bolt Action. A mighty 88 was a must-have for this army! I used the Warlord Games plastic kit and added the resin Sonderanhänger 203 that was left from a Warlord Games 88 I painted years ago.
The gun is removable from the base likewise the crew. All bases are magnetized.
I wish you all a nice weekend!
Cheers

January 25, 2020 at 2:52 am #1478303Just a bit of basecoat and color evaluation for large swathes of space on some figures. It passes the time to slap on paint and keep me hobbying outside of project work.
January 26, 2020 at 12:25 pm #1478973Hey guys another couple of Spectre Miniatures Africa Militia members done to a tabletop standard with mainly contrast base colours and some layer highlights. These are going to be used for the Sitrep Podcast 13 Days = 13 Hours Project. Its been really nice to have a focus for my hobby and after a nervous start, I am even enjoying painting these live on Twitch for them.
