How to do some basic eyes
So working on the rest of the artillery crew this weekend and hoping to have them finished by Sunday night to stay on track.
With these minis being so small I was unsure whether I wanted to even try and do eyes but figured I would give it a go on the test mini and they were okay so here is a couple of photos showing how to do basic eyes. Also so you can see just how messy you can be up until you tidy up.
Eyes – White Scar – Eye area
– Abaddon Black – Pupil
– Bugmans Glow – Tidy up the surrounding area
It’s an easy method and once you get used to shaping the eyes in the tidy up phase you can begin to make them have some basic expressions.

yowzah … I find eyes for 28mm figures enough of a challenge already.
They do look a bit like they’re cross-eyed (sp?).
@limburger that’s just the guy on the right. Strangely enough, he’s the guy in the aiming seat hehe, redone the dodgy one since that photo just trying to do my best buddy 😀
I wouldn’t worry, you can just say he is the only member of the German army who can watch a tennis match without moving his head!

@olliep I find it pretty scary every time. Mainly doing the pupils but thought I would give it a go 🙂
