Oily Highs and Lows
so oils on and then I started doing work on the 9th toyed with oils it looked amazing but I wanted to try some acrylic inks, paints, glazes brushed and airbrushed on to see how they look.
They do not look as good as the oils, I wanted to paint in oils, why did I not paint in oils? Discuss.
I see Dettol in your future boysSo with that in mind, I have learned my lesson and the regular Shivers will be finished in oils as originally planned.
But the initial yellow/red ink and then green oil to blend the upper armour and brown on the lower legs looks well.
I’ll be finishing another green over the armour and then detail.
Fab work on the figures Gerry have you considered painting some white/Gray as a manikin robot army.
