This is an ongoing collection from the House of Water #Best House to document terrain from around the world as reference and inspiration for modellers and terrain building.

This Project is Active

Pegasus Bridge, with the first house liberated in France and a replica of gilder featuring real tyres the museum had to buy off a French farmer who was using them on a cart.

The Arco della Pace was started in 1807 in honour of Napoleon, but finished in 1838 for the coronation of Ferdinando I of Lombardy-Venetia.  Designed by neoclassical architect Luigi Cagnola.

Chester is a city in northwest England, founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D. It’s known for its extensive Roman walls made of local red sandstone. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings. A Roman amphitheatre, with ongoing excavations, lies just outside the old city’s walls.

The ruins of Brahehus Castle are located 3 km outside of Gränna in Jönköping County in the province of Småland, Sweden. The ruins sit above lake Vättern, providing a panoramic view of the lake and the island of Visingsö.
