Flames Of War Plastic British Infantry & Their Half-Tracks Fight On

Flames of War is moving back to World War II with the coming of two new plastic kits with both a British Rifle Company and M5 Half-Track Platoon rolling out in plastic. See what you think of them below...

The Plastic British Rifle Company is a great step forward for Battlefront as they're doing away with their big headed metal infantry and changing it to more detailed (from the looks of it) plastic soldiers.

Their nickname on the battlefield was the 'Poor Bloody Infantry' and they were veterans who had come back from the desert fighting to pass on their expertise to the newbies heading over to France. An awesome looking set with loads of character.

The M5 Half-Track was made to try and supplement the need for M3 Half-Tracks and while they were still useful in the field they weren't as defensive as the M3. Their plating was thinner so armour piercing rounds were more of a problem, not great when you're trying to transport troops safely.

Britain ended up with loads of these but more were sent out to the Americans and the Soviet Union too so you had loads of them littering the battlefield. You could well pop these into your various different forces then too.

Will you be fighting for the British?
