The game was played using two starter forces, with Justin commanding the Empire, while Gerry guided the Rebel forces, all played out on our awesome AT-AT table.
This table lets us dig into the rules surrounding 3D movement and should make for a pretty cinematic game.

Sticking up for @avernos – Terrain masking and covered assault approaches are important tactics on any battlefield. 😀 😀 😀 As they say “on the street” – Don’t hate the player, hate the game. 😀

Really enjoyed this. Although I was painting and working on LOTR models. 🙂 Ready to work on some Star Wars guys during future ones!!!! Hurry up Core Box and get here!!!!!
One suggestion. If possible have a 3d person present to read the comments out. That way the two players can focus on the game.

So finally getting to have a look at this. Is there no bonus for shooting at enemy in the rear?.
depends what you’re shooting at, some armoured targets have weak spots at the rear where armour doesn’t count.

Lloyd seemed to be using the age old tactic of ‘Confuse yourself and you’ll confuse your enemy’
Enjoyed this immensely, even if it took me a few days to catch up on the whole thing. Was interesting watching Lloyd have a few things taught to him, was quite educational. I’ve watched all the legion content up to now I think, and whilst I had inferred those things to be true, seeing them explained to someone playing the game for the first time was quite valuable.
