Pre-Order Bonus Prints Available Alongside Star Wars: Legion

The date has been set for the release of Star Wars: Legion as Fantasy Flight Games get you to mark March 22nd on your calendars. But, alongside the release of the core game and all manner of expansions, they also have a pre-order bonus too.

As well as the main game, if you pre-order the game from their webstore you will also be able to get your hands on these art prints showing off the miniatures from the game in some iconically designed Star Wars settings.

There are five of them, each to be included with the pre-orders placed. They measure 8.5” x 11” and might work nicely as pictures to adorn your gaming room. I like the way they've been shot and it really does show off what awesome things you can do with miniatures and some photography skills.

Of course, this is probably a pre-order bonus that only American customers are really going to be able to take advantage off since shipping might be a bit of a bugger - but it's a nice gesture all the same.

Short answer, no. I’ll pre-order it from a store here, however lovely the prints are, they’re not why i’ll be getting Legion.

No thanks. Given how much I’m likely to be pre-ordering I think 20% off at my FLGS seems more attractive…

The big news is the official March 22 release date!

Preorder bonuses are nice but I’ve already ordered through my local game store. If I want them to support the game I need to make sure they get the sales. If folks order online there’s no incentive for the local stores to support the game in the future.

OK, now I am conflicted. March 22 is the first day of Adepticon, so that would be the timing. However, I have signed up for two classes that day for Star Wars Legion. If I have them pre-ordered at my FLGS, I won’t be able to pick them up until after the convention. So now I need to wait and buy them at the convention and not support my local store?
