They’re from Infinity, we should be putting some vids out on it soon
BoW Justin
Not seen these before – nice looking.
Panoceania – get my vote. Very Appleseed.
yea i love them but im more in to the nomads there fluff is realy great
Please Darryl – where do you get those incredible trees on the left side (from your view) of the table?
You want to hear some cheese?
interlocking ripper swarms.
yes, it is possible to, by following all the rules of unit coherency, interlock you rippers giving them BOTH a 4+ coversave. But wait! Theses more! the rippers benifit from the swarm specil rule (1 bonus to all cover) so they get a nasty +3 cover save!
This is an example(R and r represent difrent units)
R-2″-R-2″-r-2″-r
r-2″-r-2″-R-2″-R
Is that possible considering:
1″ away from other units
2″ Coherency
Base size
Also it would mean you can never move both units as you have to move 1 at a time and each model must be able to fit though gaps and still keep 1″ away from other units.
It is possible to line them up in this manner. However, as you pointed out, the moving of the units would then be impossible.
Sky slashers can use this tactic though since they are jump infantry and would just “fly” over each other.
This is also a common tactic with gargoyles; giving 2 groups a 4+ cover save
This tactic is forbidden on lots of torneys but otherwise it is quite commonly used – it is usually called chessboard here in this area. I have seen this pulled out by a guy with 180 orks (each of his movement phases took about an hour)
Also the problem is it works only from the front, it is possible (if you attack from the angle) to negate one units cover.
Also flamethrowers and other cover negating stuff is bit of a problem as your units are bunched together and once they dont have their cover save, they are a dead meat.
what are the boxes in the bottom right of?
Infinity the game plus the human sphere expansion book.
No you’re not spam bot
i found a really cheesey list in the gaurd codex, havent tested it out yet though becuase im so strapped for cash. but 9 vendettas are about 1000 points, thats 27 twin linked lascannons, only takes about 500-700 to get a decent ammount of infantry in those, give as many as you can demolition charges and add creed & krell and you dont need a whole lot of skill to beat anything short of a titan, and in higher point games, just add 2-3 manticores and 0-1 deathstrikes and some more infantry 😛
I see your cheese and raise you $851 because that is what you would need to just get the basic thinks you listed. A horde thunder hammer army would beet it.
even without the errata, lashing out of combat woudnt work. Not only it is a shooting attack, but also the unit moves as it was its movement phase and you cant move out of combat during your movement.
