Warcradle Studios has announced a new Two-Player Starter Set coming to Dystopian Wars for the month of October! Fortune And Glory await as the Union clashes with the Sultanate in a new set that has been designed to get you started in this naval wargame.

This new set works as the perfect way for two new players to jump into playing Dystopian Wars. At the heart of it are two powerful fleets alongside rules, dice, cards and all of the extras that you need to get started in your first games. As mercenary fleets, these also allow you to expand your force to match any faction that grabs your fancy meaning that you can go in all sorts of different directions should you wish!

On the Union side of things, you have The Honorable Eclipse Company. These fellows have secured escort contracts with various clients around the globe and have used that investment in order to bring some mighty vessels into the mix. At the heart of this is the new Excelsior Heavy Aircruiser that can drop a frightening amount of bombs on the enemy from on high.

As well as the Excelsior Class Heavy Aircruisers, which can also be built as the Venture or the Custodian, you will also get three additional airships in the form of the Steward Class Sentry Airship. These can also be built as the Constellation, Republic, Ticonderoga or Ranger.

You will then get five Bogota Class Carryall and a handful of Union SRS Tokens to round things off on the Union side of things.

New Sultanate Miniatures!

When it comes to the Sultanate, they are not to be outdone when it comes to the power they can project into the skies. The Crimson League are led by Princess Scheherazade who joined the Covenant Of The Enlightened for a time before leaving when the Egalitarian and Custodians schism came to the fore.

Lyceum Class Aerial Dreadnought // Dystopian Wars

At the heart of this fleet is the impressive form of the Lyceum Class Aerial Dreadnought. Gifted to the Sultan by the Covenant Of The Enlightened, these are opulent craft but don't let that fool you. The look of these dreadnoughts shouldn't distract you from the amount of damage they can do!

The Lyceum Aerial Dreadnought can be joined in battle by the Nasr Class Skyship which can also be built as the Awsbiri or Muharib. You then also get three Hirka Class Skycutters, three Alsaqr Class Skybarques (awesome word!) and then a collection of Sultanate SRS Tokens.

The bonuses for this set include two Titan Class Heavy Conveyers (may be built as Passenger, Freight or Oil variants) plus two Merchant Ships and two Escorts. You'll also note that you get Small Ship Tokens and Ground Assault Detachment Tokens which work nicely with the scenarios that you'll get to play.

You can pick up two Thor Assault Raiders in the set which can also be built as Loki, Angrboda, Heimdall, Baldr or Gefjon alongside four Fenrir Hunter Submarines, two Valkyrie Hunt Rotors and two Vali SRS Tokens.
