The Jungle Mat comes in various sizes and in a number of different materials depending on what your preferences are. You can go with a smaller mat or something much bigger depending on your games and there is also a special Shatterpoint variant which comes with markings for setting up your games.

Get the gaming mat in PVC, Cloth or Mousepad material and think about what kind of games you might play on this. The first thing that comes to mind is Leviathan and the recent Tyranid invasion on Oghram in Warhammer 40,000. This seems like the hot and sweltering environment for a Tyranid swarm to attack an army of Space Marines or perhaps some hardened Catachans who are putting their Death World training to good use.

I also think this would be the perfect gaming mat for games like The Drowned Earth. That game takes place on very densely packed tabletops full of lush foliage so this could work as a good basis for that. You could also go down the Star Wars route and have this be the perfect place for a Shatterpoint showdown between stranded Jedi and Sith sent to hunt them down. Some big plants as terrain and you'd have Felucia!
