Ok the wings on TeeToe I have painted these off the mini as I thought it would be easier for me and both sides will be done this way.

I have followed as best I can the Asset Drop learning guide. So this a guide to do Layering.

So all the mini will be primed in Green Stuff World matt primer grey (form ontabletop store). Colours used are Reaper Mini’s MSP paint (sent by Asset) Carrot Top Red(1), Explosion Orange(2) and Marigold Yellow(3) plus you need a water(4), black(5) and white(6).

These are applied as follows and may need extra coats as required :- so you will see numbers next to the items I will use this to show what colours are used each stage the x figure will number of drops(save typing)

A. 1×3 and 4×1 whole wing

B. 1×2, 2×2 and 4×2 80% of wing

C. 2×3 and 4×1 60%-70% of wing

D. 2×1, 3×1 and 4×1 50% of wing

E. 3×3 and 4×1 40% of wing

F. 3×3, 6×1 and 4×2 25% of wing

G. 3×2, 6×3 and 4×3 a little less than before

H. 3×1, 6×1 and 4×1 a little less than before

I. 3×1, 6×2 and 4×1 a little less again

J. 1×2, 5×1 and 4×2 vertical lines at the wing edges a little along the veins  and a bit of free hand shapes on the wing

K. 1×1, 5×1 and 4×1 on the tips of the wings

L. 3×1, 6×1 and 4×1 under the free hand shapes

I didn’t take photo of every single stage I thought it would be too much.

The paints were used in the order listed from base to highlight. The green ink used on the top half of the tree, I dont know what it is I did the once as a test and I like the look it gives the tree. The blue ink at the bottom I have I have done to show that is dew to the area around seeping into it your see when the base is done.

Base- from Flagstone Pathway Base by Warbases, Moonstones by Serious Play Scenics, Secret Grove Scatter by Asset Drop Baseworks.

Started by painting the pathway stones in Reaper MSP Shadowed Stone and the rest of the area Reaper MSP Woodstain Brown as a base coat.  Simply used the scatter over the brown areas and basing sand over the path, the path was tan washed with Army Painter Soft/Strong/Dark tones in different areas on the sand than a little dry brush of Army Painter Desert Yellow. Attached the moonstones to give the mini’s something to aim for.

Again not be quite with it sorry forgot to take a photo oooops have to see final picture ?
