Gripping Beast have shown off the 3-Ups for their Late Roman Legions which will be the next big plastic release from them. See what you think of them, painted up by Darren Linington...

Late Roman Infantry

While these are 3-Ups these models are going to look just like this when you get them in the pack (just smaller of course). They are also fully compatible with the existing Dark Age range which means you could even make some Early Saxons who have stolen and raided Roman armouries.

Champion

This also leads us to the news that the next big step for SAGA seems to be towards the Arthurian period. This means Romano-British soldiers, Picts and Celts and of course Early Saxons as noted above.

Spearman

I really like the look of these miniatures and it's neat to see them with a mix of the old school Roman armour and the trappings of a country so far away from the influence of Rome. Check out the full contents of the plastic box here thanks to Wargames Illustrated.

Roman Soldiers

Really, really awesome. This certainly looks great when all ranked up showing off a full regiment. There are a LOT of miniatures in this set.

I can't wait to see the rest of their range!
