Dallas from Privateer Press who does an amazing job on our painting tutorials highlighted (get it...hah) some great looking Busts in one of his latest articles and we just had to show them off too.

Skarre

Leading the way we have this version of Skarre painted by Randon Gobles and we reckon she's got an awesome evil look to her with her pale blue skin contrasting nicely against her red hair. The horns also look fantastic.

This is then matched by this awesome looking take on Nemo by Anthony Rodriguez.

Nemo

By contrast, he looks a lot more human and the work that has gone into the stubble around his chin and the hair looks great. The burnished bronze of the armour is a perfect clash against the bright blue of his armour.

You've got to give Anthony a pat on the back for the awesome work on those goggles too making them look slightly translucent.

Last but not least we have my favourite with Borka by Eric Swinson.

Borka

As well as some impressive painting around the face and across the fur the real highlight of this piece is the glow effect from a fire that is crackling slowly beneath his feet.

You could just imagine him standing around the fire, drinking with his Trollblood brothers and singing songs of glorious victories.

What do you think of these busts and would you attempt one yourself?
