Zealot Miniatures have crafted some superb smaller scale miniatures over the last few years as well as their dungeon terrain, but they also like sculpting up massive projects too. For example, here is Beowulf by Daniel Bel.

Beowulf #1

The model stands at 150mm in height and features Beowulf, sculpted in likeness to the CGI film version, battling against a writing beast.

Beowulf #2

The expression on his face is wonderfully brought to life by Daniel and it's great seeing what you can do when coming from the digital realm nowadays. I'm sure whilst most people won't be tackling this as a project it will make its way onto the painting table of some lucky person who will get to work on it.

I can't wait to see what professional and amateur painters do with this one, especially when it comes to the work no the musculature and the hair/beard.

What do you think of Beowulf?
