As someone who’s major at University is Classics (Latin Language and ancient history) I really love the look of these. I’ve been debating for a while whether or not I should get myself some Roman models and I think this might have tipped the scales. I didn’t think they’d look as good as they do for as cheap as they are (especially coming out of playing 40k and dropping serious Rupies on Vendetta Gunships.)
Now just to select a rule set…
Does anyone have any idea where i can get the shields on the their own?
thinking about using the to on my tomb kings
Warlord Games has a pretty good selection of Bits. I know for a fact they have Scuta in their leather cases (Roman shields absorbed water and so got twice as heavy when wet, making waterproof storage necessary.) I’m also positive that they have extra Transfers in case you mess up. I bet if you looked around their site enough you should be able to find some Scuta.
What rule sets are there and which is the best
