Learn the Basics Behind Drakerys in These New Vids

Drakerys has been met with a huge level of success on Kickstarter, and to give gamers an idea what to expect from it they have released a set of gameplay videos taking us through the basics behind it.
The first video gives us an idea of the basic mechanics behind this new fantasy tabletop game, as well introducing us to some of the game's more unique elements, such as the Time Path Action Wheel.
The second video introduces us to the key role played by elemental powers within Drakerys, the miniatures for which have been one of the defining aspects of the lead up to Drakerys' time on Kickstarter.
The miniatures for Drakerys are of a really high quality, so it is easy to see why it is gathering such a level of support. These videos may help to convince those who are sitting on the fence about whether or not they want to chip in.

While I want to support this, just on the strengths of it’s minis alone, I’ve yet to see anything too intriguing from the gameplay perspective. It is largely overshadowed for me due to the Wrath of Kings Kickstarter, which was fairly recent and had a similar feel, but looks a lot more interesting, gameplay wise. I think it’s also the fact that there does not seem to be too many unit types just yet.
Still, I’ll keep an eye out.
