We're kicking things off as we get stuck into the Dropfleet Commander Boot Camp alongside Hawk Wargames. With it being Friday the Boot Campers are just arriving and they're getting stuck into building their fleets ready for battle over the weekend.

hmmm still waiting for my KS Stuff und I see here a lot of painted fleets and a lot of Space Station.
No more support for Hawk KS from mine side, next time I wait for retail, because you get it faster than from a Hawk Wargaming Kichstarter.
Agreed, I’m pretty salty about not having my Commodore rewards yet. Seeing the pop up store kind of pisses me off.
That being said, looks like a great weekend. Hope you guys have a blast!
Yeah its unfortunate how long it takes. I just got my stuff this Weds (commodore level same as dahob). Retail is definitely faster but it will come. Have faith.

BTW, the clear base on the ‘Monster-Station’ looks great! I’m thinking custom clear bases for all the ships might be a cool idea!

Somone needs to houserule rules for the resistance, let them start on the ground, give them lots of atmo craft, then they launch boarding actions up to orbit and use space stations. Somewhat reversing the way the game would play out.
Yeah, I’d love to see the resistance addded.
Yeah. Something very early on. Dave said they don’t have space faring capabilities. But that could always change.
Great idea. They would make great boarding teams.
I’d have no problem with a house rule for something like that on a one off, but I sincerely hope Hawk don’t add the Resistance to the game itself as it sort of goes against the background.
These are people who don’t have access to that sort of technology generally. I think the best way to incorporate the Resistance is to have them act on the ground targets in some way. If there are command cards similar to DZC then they could be incorporated in that way – as a bonus on ground assaults.
I think I’ll enjoy this weekend, really must try not to fall too far behind on the videos this time though. It’s much more fun to watch as they come on than cram them on Sunday night.

Had to be this weekend, have an Infinity tournament tomorrow. I’m going to watch as much as possible though as I really am enjoying DFC.
