What if an Orc was to make you an offer you can't refuse? Or what if a Dwarf demands a sit down (no height joke intended)?

There's a Kickstarter out now where you can explore both of these options and more in The Orcfather by MAGE Company!

orcfather cards1

This is a card game for 2-10 players where you use your intuition and muscle to see who's "family" is the last one standing. Players form two mafia families that are confronting one another. Each of the families elects its own "godfather" at the start of the game, where the goal of the game is to eliminate the head of the rival family. These "families" are composed of all your fantasy favorites like:  Orcs, Elves, Ogres, Undead, Dwarves and more.

Each round starts with a planning phase in which players must secretly prepare the actions they plan to take — attack, defend, or business — but players cannot speak to one another during this phase. They must use their intuition to develop plans as a team, predicting the actions of both allies and enemies. Once all players have decided, they act in order.

The attack and defend actions are pretty obvious, but for the business action players will draw from the business deck, gaining cards that enhance their attacks, potentially save allies from complicated situations, and much more.

If you're a fan of fantasy characters or you've ever wanted to be in a "family,"  there's definitely something in this game for you!

Who would be in your "family?"
