Unboxing: Hordes’ Trollblood Glacier King

We're back again today to unbox, no, summon from the icy depths, this behemoth from Privateer Press! Of course, it's the Glacier King for Hordes.

This beast is huge and most definitely the eye candy centre of your tabletop army but don't think that having the biggest toy helps you win. This guy is a monster when supported by your smaller troops.

Will you be painting any pandas on your loincloths?

@dignity Knockdown doesn’t cause the models Defense to be halved, but rather the model is Defense 5 vs ranged and magic attacks and is automatically hit with melee attacks.

@dignity You can target a model with Stealth with ranged and magic attacks, but the attacks automatically miss if the attacker is more than 5″ away from the target. If it’s an area of affect attack though it can still drift back onto the original target.

The loincloth could be simply painted in a tartan design, a demi-kilt if you will.

Now that is one nice “Troll”, two hours clean up and 40 mins putting him together. If it was me putting him together it would be more like two to four day’s, as I’m not one for getting thing’s done quickly.

Seeing him made, makes me think I need to get a big guy or two for the “Legion”, time to see what’s on offer…….
