Space Dwarfs (Dwarves...) are the hot ticket right now. So, Magglet are back on Kickstarter looking to fund a new collection of 28mm Sci-Fi miniatures to build on their retro-themed Space Dwarfs army that came to life last year thanks to backers.

The previous Kickstarter looked at creating the rank and file for a Space Dwarfs army. This new project starts to look toward the elite elements of your army and those clad in Exo Armour! This campaign isn't going to be live for long so if you're interested in the designs then you should probably get stuck in!

The miniatures themselves have been designed to match up with the retro Squat armies of the 80s and 90s that a lot of folks will be familiar with. The curved bell-like armour certainly evokes the old-school style miniatures and they would look suitably awesome on the tabletop.

The set comes with helmeted and unhelmeted (or at least open-helmed) Space Dwarfs but you can also get your hands on alternative heads to help mix things up within the unit. Stretch Goals are focused on different ranged and melee weapons so you can make more specialised armies if you so desire.

I think these look fantastic and it would be neat to see how others paint them up. The red and gold paint scheme looks neat but I'd like to see some greens and yellows in there as well.
