Does Anakron’s Latest Concept look Like an Officer You’d Follow?

Anakron Miniatures Studio have published a new piece of concept art show casing a mighty new soldier named Colonel Böykha.
My first thought on seeing this was that Vin Diesel's Riddick had bulked up a bit, and indeed the style is reminiscent of the late 90s action movie heroes.
However, the portrayal here is very much in keeping with the pulpy style of games such as Secrets of the Third Reich, and while the gun isn't exactly period appropriate I could definitely picture this guy leading a force of soldiers in weird warfare. Now there's an idea, modern day weird world war.

He looks like the kind of officer that gets his whole squad slaughtered in the opening act. Then spends the remainder of the movie killing every enemy in a 100k radius
