Mantic’s Walking Dead Sees Two New Characters Take Shape

Mantic Games have given us a little update on what's coming for The Walking Dead. This time around they have shown off two characters for your games in Negan & Abraham...
We'll kick things off with Negan who is posed in exactly the same way as he is in one of the frames within the comic. While the bat covered in spikes might be a dangerous weapon I don't think I'd trust him with the grenades either.
Additionally we also have the aforementioned Abraham who comes with an assault rifle in hand.
He looks like he might be quite a handful. He is a mean combat character with plenty to offer when the zombies come moving in. He also has a rather awesome ahem...err...moment, in the comics later on.

I’m happy I’ve backed the KS after all and am looking forward to get my hands on the game 🙂

So I’m curious, I backed the KS of this and haven’t heard a peep from them since shortly after it was completed. I backed the Dungeon Saga KS and we got lots of updates. Am I missing out on something? Not complaining just curious.
And given that this is a licensed game that might be the one thing that is keeping them from posting updates …
As suspected Mantic seem to have taken on more than than they can cope with..
I’m not suspecting anything in terms of updates for at least another month to be honest, but that’s just my guess. Communication is as poor as I expected it to be.
But hopefully backing it will be rewarded eventually, the game promises to be great fun and I love the TWD comics. All will be good in the end!
Yeah not worried and can’t wait to get the final product. Just thought it was odd. If they can do “press” releases they could release the same to the backers. No biggie though.
I was wandering how many figures are gonna be available for retail and how many are just KS exclusive.

Pretty sure the IP holder is keeping a very close eye on this one, while Mantic seem to have taken on a more ‘one project hurdle at a time’-KS approach. The last month or so has been all hands on deck to get Deadzone 2.0 / Infestation out to people. It’s a bit annoying to see the updates on their other projects suffer a bit for it, though judging from the Deadzone Kickstarter / online stuff, the approach has done wonders for shipping speed, reducing missing items and general quality control there.
