Princess Xue, Princess of Dragon Bay will get married next weekend. To honour her, you have sent your little Heir to the Dragon Market to pick up the presents you want to offer. For him, it is far from being a chore, he will finally be allowed to run and jump from boat to boat to recover all the wonders before the heirs of other families.
In Dragon Market, players must move their boats along the river, then jump from boat to boat, collecting items and delivering the best presents to the princess. Complete objectives, collect items and earn points to win the princess' favour for your family!
The easy-to-learn rules and cute components make Dragon Market an ideal family game. However, there was originally a strong backlash from consumers at the racist undertones of the artwork chosen by Blue Orange Games for Dragon Market.
The company has since revised the design, and both the US release and the EU second-print edition will run with this new cover.
This new design is, of course, an improvement over the original, however many have questioned why Blue Orange Games failed to notice the obvious problems with the original design. The original is still available in European FLGS, and the revised Dragon Market US release will follow later this year.
