Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker Previewed For Imperial Assault

Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker have become the new focus of a preview for Imperial Assault, the new skirmish/adventure game from Fantasy Flight Games...
The miniatures are looking great which is a good start, although I don't think I would have expected much else from Fantasy Flight Games. As well as that a few of the cards for the game have also been shown off and you can see them above. It's all looking very cool for both the Light and Dark side of the Force.
It's interesting that Luke comes with his blaster in the miniature above and it would be cool to see a Return of the Jedi version of him as well, and I'm sure we'll get it.

There is a good post over on BGG (http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1256234/miniatures-and-scale/page/1) which shows the scale of that Luke mini compared with a similar one from WotC. It’s good to see that the height is about the same.. so, no real height concerns when put alongside other ~30mm miniatures which means that converted Infinity models will continue to look good alongside the official Star Wars ones – and they have bulked up the models versus WotC’s offering too, particularly the weapons. I’m looking forward to painting mine up!

Luke is in a Chinese restaurant and he is making a terrible mess with the chopsticks.

Picked this up yesterday from my local FLGS and the quality of the product is outstanding, from the cardstock to the minis they ooze awesome.
Why doesn’t Han Solo smoke cigarettes? Because he prefers to Chewbacca!
Sadly, it is not released yet in the States, and no word on when it will be!! So jealous right now..

It’s really weird.. there are many, many rumors that they are sitting on pallets at the warehouses, just waiting on the ok to be sent.. but alas, they are still sitting there.
Enjoy the game for me, I cannot wait to get my copy!
