Yes, it's January and yes, we're already talking about Gen Con. Come on, it's "The Best Four Days Of Gaming." If you have never experienced the spectacle of Gen Con, then you are missing out. There is truly something there for everyone: board games, card games, miniature games, painting puzzles, role playing games, live action role playing games, seminars, art, seminars, cosplay...and loads more. This year, Gen Con is August 1st-4th at the Indianapolis Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium and the badges are on sale NOW. Anyone that has attended the show before can tell you that it doesn't take long for 4 day badges to sell out and even less time for available lodging to be claimed, so if you've ever been on the fence and think this might be your year, you should definitely snag your badge sooner than later.

Getting your badge is only half the battle, because then comes event registration time and that date will be here before we know it. May 19th is when the event cart goes live and it's well worth your while to make sure you look for events before that date so you know what you need and you get online as soon as humanly possible during go live. You'll be placed in virtual line and things go FAST.

Gen Con really is an amazing show and you really should go at least once. Who knows, maybe we'll see you there- that's how we met @redben.
