RN Estudio’s Fantasy Team Bring The Rumble Of Celthunder

RN Estudio have a human fantasy football team on Kickstarter right now with a decidedly Celtic feel. The Celthunders are a mix of male and female players that will be produced in resin at the end of the campaign.

Celthunders

The full team of 16 players are already rendered and waiting to go, stretch goals are set for a couple of star players and additional game pieces which is nice. Being able to grab a full team of individual sculpts right off the bat instead of having to unlock alternative sculpts is always a big plus for me.

Line 2

Line 1

The Renders look good with nice touches like the saltire cross on their belt buckles and the poses are a good variety as well, from the game faced fellows above (I hope his kilt doesn't ruck up any further) to the cheeky female Line player below.

Line 3

Plenty of room to get in there and send yourself mad painting tartan...I mean, plenty of room to practice painting tartan on the figures if you fancy trying your hand at it on. I have to say there is a lot of character on the figures without the team looking too disparate a group.

Thrower

No Fantasy Football team would be complete, however, without a couple of big hitters thrown into the mix and the Celthunders are no exception, with a brace of Werewolves playing for them.

Werewolf 2

I imagine these big ginger brutes loping down the field at pace chasing the ball, I just hope they remember to score and not bring it back and drop it at the throwers feet! The last player is a weird one to my mind.

Yeti

The Yehti isn't celtic and I'm not sure why it got a run out on the park, it's a nice brute of a sculpt mind you, and with that ankle clasp it's possible that he's not playing for the home side through his own choice. Regardless of the reason he's punching things on the pitch I'm sure your opponent will be giving him a wide berth.

Over all if you're a fan of Fantasy Football this is a nice looking team that would easily sub in for Norse, I just wonder how people will be able to talk about them in the Unoffical Weekender thread though 😉

Let's Play Ball! (that's probably right)
