First squad - getting started

The first squad for this project will be German Heer Grenadiers from Warlord.

Ten German Grenadiers, in plastic, constructed with rifles and a MG42.

To give the bases a little detail a few cat litter rocks are added. This also shows that Vallejo Liquid Putty has been used to fill some of the gaps where the arms join the body.

These are then undercoated in 50/50 mix of grey and black Vallejo Surface Primer.

Next the miniatures are given a base coat of Vallejo German Field Grey, thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner.
