Secret Weapon Lay the Base for the Future

Secret Weapon Miniatures have put a preview of a new selection of bases which should hopefully become available in August, the Tau Ceti 7 Bases.
These bases have some rather interesting designs sculpted on them, which just leaves one wondering what exactly was the architect of this place smoking when he designed the floor?
The rails, or whatever they are, which can be seen on three of the bases in the above image give a nice sense of a working factory environment. These bases are definitely going to suit Infinity miniatures down to the ground and, as the name might suggest, wouldn't look too much out of place for a Warhammer 40K Tau army.
Will all these bases belong to you?
I’m a bit disappointed in them. The lines don’t look very sharp and you can even see a bit of flash on the bottom in the picture! I can’t believe they didn’t trim it off for a picture.
These were actually test casts — the edges on all of them are rough. The good news is that I wasn’t happy with them either and we’ve scrapped these… and gone 3D for the set. There’s a new preview up on our Facebook page.
Tau Ceti, there was never a point to going there other than for federal military missions, no pirates, nothing worth trading. boring system. Thinking of computerised classical music as we speak.
