I have some Everblight beasts that have flight. So will Strikers knockdown powers work on them?
Yes it does. flight(wings) does not make you immune to kockdown.
The warbeasts called Angelus and Serpah have an ability called Serpentine which means they cannot be knocked down.
* seraph
Thanks for the tips I’ll keep that in mind when I play my beasts to see if they have that serpentine rule.
Nice video… Good explanations !
Happened to me. House Shyeel Battle-Mages knocked down a Behemoth along with a Magister. The sheer annoyance on the Khador player’s face was visible. His Behemoth was out of comission for two full turns thanks to some lucky dice rolls. Seems the shallow pond didn’t do much good to the Behemoth’s health….
…. now awaiting the revenge of the Khadoran forces sometime soon for that.
This is why Gators are so much fun.
Barnabas can magically create his own water for the Wrastler to throw/slam jacks into.
Just a quick curiosity, do Myrmidons suffer the same effects of being knocked down in water? I know nothing about Scyrah technology, but they models don’t seem to have any visible smoke stacks which leads me to assume they aren’t powered by coal boilers.
I know this comment is quite old but with the video being re-posted maybe this will get some love.
Although fluff wise Myrmidons are not coal powered but rather powered by magic they do not have any special rules reflect this and are treated the same when knocked down in water
By the way, this is somewhat old news, but… Did you see this ?

Awesome IMHO ! And the crew doesn’t look bad either !
kiff they are powered by pure Arcane energy. They do not use primitive coal based engines like the other jacks. It’s why also they have a much higher operational time compared to even Cygnar electricity powered Jacks. It also helps them maintain their force-fields.
Very nice and useful tip guys.
Hi,
i’m a newbie that just started “warmachine/hordes” for about a month now
Looking at this video, i’m just wondering, just as a water feature (say a lake) is a weakness of most of the models in warmachine, does Hordes have a terrain feature that’s a major weakness to war beasts?
Thanks for the vids, would love to have seen the older ones so i can quickly learn some tips to really get the most out of my games.
