HeroClix Delves into Middle Earth

It's been a while since we last took a look at what is happening with HeroClix, so I thought we should see how their Lord of the Rings range is shaping up.
Take a look at these latest additions and see what you think.
I have to say that for pre-painted miniatures these do not look too bad. The sculpts are fairly nice and the details are also quite distinctive.
In short these, unlike the Halo HeroClix figures, do not look like a half sucked jelly baby that's been stuck on a base.
What are your thoughts on these miniatures? Do you think that these might just be able to take away the bad taste left by the Halo jelly babies?

I’m not a fan of heroclix, though I’m having a very difficult time resisting the Street Fighter expansion.
I’m not a fan of heroclix either, or really LoTR for that matter, but these are pretty good, and really do show up how phoned-in the Halo stuff was.
they are better than the average heoclix stuff, I’m tempted to play startrek expedition with gimli, spiderman, marcus pheonix, and master chief instead of kirk and pals. The dream team they’l get it done.
Are these really painted or are they digital?
They look like digital renders of the models. They don’t look that bad in their digital form lol. Gimli actually looks pretty awesome.
The sculpts themselves look pretty good and might re-paint quite nicely if you are that way inclined.
Clix has gotten way better since the early days.

A nice way to put my 6 years old into gaming,
He already stay with me painting and playing with some minis I have but this is a nice way to let him play around with friends and such.
These aren’t as bad as some of their other stuff but they’re still pretty terrible.
I want to see figs as these look 99% likely to be renders
I think heroclix uses digital sculpting though, so these will pretty much be the sculpts, if not the paint job- which can go wrong on any given model anyway.
