Epic Dwarfs & Deadly Heroes From Avatars Of War

Avatars of War have some more awesome looking models on the way for their world of Warthrone. Thanks to TT Combat for the images below as it seems hard to find them anywhere else!
First off we have the Dwarf Thunder Warriors that come hot on the heels of the Pathfinders we saw not long ago. These fellows are going to be bringing some epic guns to the field of battle and as before it looks like you have a brilliant set of bearded fellows to add to your army.
It might be more or less on par with Games Workshop but you could easily make a full Dwarf army from these guys as an alternative. I am seriously thinking about it for when I try to take on Kings of War.
And now we get onto the other models. Here we take a first glance at the Amazons with their Manhunter. I think she looks like a total bad ass and wouldn't look out of place in the armies of the frozen North as well as the jungle South.
To cap things off we have the Summoner of the Plague who would be a great addition to both a Warriors of Chaos and Daemons army. I think he could also fit in well with the likes of Mordheim too, especially with that bell. Something about that just screamed 'Mordheim'.
Of course the Dwarfs are the best here, right?

The AOW stuff is beyond brilliant. I don’t think there are many better fantasy minis out there. They make GW look like amateurs.
I can’t understand the nerve to have received all that money promising people to deliver an army of dwarfs, clearly failing both in materials and timelines (lack of comunication to backers will be left without comment) and even now keep on sculpting miniatures for other “factions” when they should be ONLY doing dwarfs!
Hope they never dream of doing another indiegogo again…
From what i can gather they have been having problems on the production side of things. They haven’t been able to cast the miniatures as they’d like so they had to go back to the drawing board with some of the components. What I think, I didn’t back so bear that in mind, is that they have looked at what models NEED to come out to make the core of the army. The AoW dwarves are miles ahead of the gw crappy hip and knee-less dwarves.
And there are alot of other minis in their range that are awesome
TBH I don’t find these so much better than the GW Dwarves, except some of the detailing is admittedly superior. They have a lot of character from what I can see.
Would like them a great deal more if they didn’t have overlong, tree trunk arms.
It is a deal breaker for me.
I do Enjoy AoW, not sure what the issue is on the dwarf army funding, I wasnt on the line with that I guess. I have been planning to use many of their dwarfs though in conjunction with other lines to do a dwarf army for some time they make solid pieces and I agree, make GW look like Amateurs! Love the Manhunter model, been waiting for them to make us a good savage female barbarian.
