Have you been annoying your dog by playing too many tabletop games instead of taking them for a walk? Do they beg next to the tabletop with their lead and collar whilst you are knee-deep in your newest board game? Well, this board game is certainly not going to help your dog any further!

Dog Park on Kickstarter is live, and players will collect and walk a plethora of different dogs whilst utilising cards - and you don't even need to leave your house to do so, or stretch your legs - sorry Fido. Maybe later?

Dog Park Teaser Trailer // Birdwood Games

In Dog Park, players will work over several phases to collect all of the best doggos in the park. Competing against opponents, players will each take the role of individual dog walkers who are keen on having the most prestigious pups in their packs. They must recruit dogs to their kennels, take said dogs on walk, and prove to be the best in the business earning reputation points for different phases and aspects in the game.

Since hitting Kickstarter, the game has been doing incredibly well. After being funded in the first 45 minutes of the campaign being live, there are several pledges depending on how deep in dog doo-doo you want to be.

The game can be played solo or with three others in a more competitive manner, taking roughly about 140 minutes depending on how many people are in the game. Plus, you can get those little dog enthusiasts involved too given the game is sitting at 10+, it can certainly be a fun walk out adventure for the whole family.

The game has nine days left to go, and has smashed its initial target so you are guaranteed to see the success of this doggy mayhem coming to tabletops next year.

What do you think of this game concept? Will you be backing the chance to collect all the dogs?
