If you’re going to run these guys, you need CSM-Alex to go with them. They combo to create the highest damage attack in the game.

Also, if anyone is interested in checking the game out, the next tournament is at The Dice Cup in Nottingham on September 24th. Cadres can even be lent if you want to join. We’ve had plenty of people play their first game at one of these events so don’t let not having played before put you off. Everyone also walks away with a Black Diamond corruption esper patch to boot!

To be fair, Infinity are pretty much at the top end of the spectrum, so it’s probably a bit unfair to compare, although I certainly agree that these models could look much better (considering some of the other models in the range).

I am pretty surprised by how much clean-up each model looks to be required; mold lines / flash / etc..

The initial wave of models was in soft plastic, such as these. Everything since has been in resin, such as the Calico Kate mini that Romain is painting.

The body/leg parts are rather nice when you clean up the mold lines but the guns are awful casts. The initial PVC models were all over the place in quality and seemingly random which parts were great, which were trash, and which had mold line hell.

If theses guy`s are the same faction as the “Tank” unboxing from a while back, then this is the faction for @John.

Don`t have any Relic stuff, but if i did then the “Diamond Corps” would be the faction for me.

I wouldn’t put them together If I was given them for free. It’s a shame because there’s a lot of fantastic sculpts in the Relic Knights range completely let down by the choice of material. I know the new stuff they are releasing is going to be resin but I feel they may have missed the boat now.

They are nice grunts and i painted them like grunts, ie: very generic looking (have to remember to post them up 😉 ). I haven’t played them yet with CSM Alex but, i can see it will be good by looking at his stats. There’s also a medic comming up, can’t wait to see what it will do!

The medic has a basic heal, as well as a way to grant the Diamond Corps regeneration in order to reinforce the squad. Add in her officer trait and a basic attack, and she pairs amazingly with these guys.
