The Thanes of The Red Book Of The Elf King have grand bodyguards and that is where this third set of Companions comes in from Lucid Eye.

These warriors look a little more grand and dangerous than others we've seen. They have finely decorated helmets which I'm sure are not just for show. You could imagine these Elf warriors being at one with their weapons and armour, not feeling hindered by them during a fight.

This release also gave us an interesting new insight into the world Lucid Eye are building...

"To the southern mortal tribes the Elves of Eas are towering soulless demons, and whilst it is true they have only spirits rather than souls, they know just the same, the lesser and greater qualities of humanity."

I'm fascinated to see what the folks at Lucid Eye do when it comes to developing this range with new characters, races and factions.

Elf King Updates

The game itself has been playtested and is going through the process a few more times right now. The various Circles (factions) are being tested to make sure that they all balance out when it comes to power on the tabletop.

Work on initial art is complete as well as the logos for the various Circles. Additional gaming materials are also being worked on including tokens, wound markers and even a series of Elf King Dice Bags. The game will use d6 and d10 so make sure to stock up on those if you want to get in on this.
