Our friends over at Paranoid Miniatures have not only put together a really wonderful, imaginative gaming experience with their Kickstarter, Mythos, but they've put a tremendous amount of thought into the story around the factions and characters from the game.

There's only a couple more days on the campaign and they guys continue to more and more ways to help set the scene for their Lovecraftian world.

As alluded to in their visit to BoW, Paranoid has developed "tutorial" campaigns to not only help players learn the ropes within the world of Mythos, but help explain how the variety of characters came to know one another to form a faction. They've just released the first of these "tutorial" campaigns for the Priory faction and it's available as a free download from their site.

The campaign starts with the player only controlling two of the models from the Priory, Professor Lazarus and Bertie. This allows a player to get their feet wet and get comfortable with the rules of these two characters before introducing other members of the crew.

Each scenario after will have a story that intersects with other members of the faction until, as they say, they gang's all here.

They plan on releasing more of these tutorial style campaigns very soon so each of the factions will have their members introduced through scenarios as well.
