Ragged Staff Minis has been showing off some of the new miniatures that will be joining their 28mm collection this year. The most recent preview was for The Watchful Lord which you'll be able to get your hands on over on Etsy soon.

The Watchful Lord // Ragged Staff Minis

This miniature has been designed to represent one of the many nobles who were fighting during the Wars Of The Roses. He is posed holding his sallet helm, wondering about what move he should make with his troops. He wears an English-style harness apparently with a heraldic tabard which you can decorate with a Historical coat of arms or one of your own invention.

The sculpting for this miniature was done by the talented Marcos from Reconquer Designs so if you like the quality of his work, this is going to be along the same lines. As well as The Watchful Lord, you will also be able to get the Impatient Heir who could well be a good fit alongside the figure above.

The Impatient Heir // Ragged Staff Minis

The armour is purposefully similar between the two miniatures so perhaps the Impatient Heir could be the son of The Watchful Lord who has inherited his armour or is at least clad in the same style as his family. I like that you have the contemplative Lord who is working out the best way to spend the lives of his men whilst the son is perhaps happy to charge in and damn the consequences.

Both miniatures will be available in 28mm scale for wargaming but also in 54mm for painters.
