Join us for another playthrough of Mark Ritchie’s “Tactical Command” in 15mm. This time we’re looking at the Battle of Obong-ni Ridge, part of the Naktong River campaign along the Pusan Perimeter, fought during the opening months of the Korean War in August, 1950.
In this engagement, heavily-outnumbered elements of 5th Marines and 24th US Infantry clashed with 16th Regiment and 109th Tank Battalion (4th NKPA Infantry Division). Can heavier Marine armor and US Army artillery tip the scales against the human waves and massed tanks of the North Koreans?
