Now it was time to paint the dryads, green ladies of the forest. There were six of these plus a sorceress and all were painted together.

Firstly I gave the entire miniature a base coat of Creed Camo Contrast, as I wanted the minis to be more of a colder grey green.Firstly I gave the entire miniature a base coat of Creed Camo Contrast, as I wanted the minis to be more of a colder grey green.

The weapons and bases were painted in the same way as the earlier models so I won’t mention that again here. I dotted the eyes with light green blue. I glazed the sorceress's staff with a thinned down Asurmen Blue Contrast (after painting it the usual grey colours as with my previous weapons). I then finally glazed the dryads skin with a thinned down Creed Camo Contast just to take the edge of the paleness of the highlights.I dotted the eyes with light green blue. Here are the finished results. I’m pretty happy with them. For a while I was going to paint in all the highlights using layering for a smoother style but I changed my mind after seeing how well the drybrushing looked. Here are the finished results. Next up I’ll be painting the forest sprites.
