TTCombat has now released their modular terrain set for playing Fantasy games called Savage Domain. This new selection would be pretty good for use in the likes of Warcry, Frostgrave and all sorts of other skirmish games.

Savage Domain Abandoned Abbey - TTCombat

The first of the sets we're looking at is for the Abandoned Abbey. The set breaks down into smaller components and then, using a set of plugs and connectors, allows you to build up large structures or narrow ones which spread out across the battlefield. I love the look of this terrain which reminds me of the classic Mordheim locations my warbands used to fight in back in the day.

Whilst, of course, this works for other games this would be brilliant for those playing Carnevale too, leaping across the walls and walkways as you clash with your foes.

Crumbling Ruins

The next piece of terrain we're looking at is the wonderful Crumbling Tower. Again, this is a modular kit which gives you another exciting landscape for you to fight around. I love the ramshackle roof which tops this tower.

This looks like the place which at one point would have been a watchtower and has seen better days. The breached gate looks like it was either broken apart by attackers, or some monstrous beast broke out instead.

Hold The Walls

As well as these two larger kits we also have a smaller one known as the Castle Town Walls. This is another smaller set which simply plugs together and offers you some nice incidental pieces of terrain which can be used for blocking line of sight.

You just know that your heroes are going to end up fighting along the top of that wall, swords clashing until one of them loses their footing and crunches into the dirt below.

These look like nice kits which should be relatively easy to paint up and get ready for your games. Being modular it also means you can thankfully store them away easily!

Will you be picking up some of this terrain?
