The Human Interface: Nakamura Tower team have put together another preview of their Cyberpunk Board Game coming to Kickstarter on April 20th. This next one discusses more of the intricacies of gameplay and the miniatures too...

HINT Prototype #2

What we learned about the game this time round...

  • Cyber Warfare - The game focuses in on one of the coolest aspects of Cyberpunk and that's hacking. You can use a mechanic similar to a card game to hack terminals, networks, turrets, and maybe even other players. Got any viruses to install anyone?
  • Mechanics - The game does not use dice but instead a card system called CanDo. It's expected that your characters are skilled enough to hit their targets but the cards themselves will influence the results of your actions.
  • Miniatures - The miniatures will be in metal and highly detailed as well as being in 32mm scale.
  • Expansions - New board modules, factions, rules additions, and scenarios as well as cards will all become available in the future if the game does well. They are even working on a way to make your own characters.

...and this all sounds great to us.

Are you ready and raring for this game?
