Mantic Games are closing in on the final week for their Deadzone: Infestation Kickstarter and the new unlocks are very cool indeed. See what you think of the new offerings for the Veer-Myn to begin with before checking out the Plague and Asterians...

Chem-On!

The first faction getting some new toys to play with are the Veer-Myn and this means more ways to send chemicals flowing across the battlefield. Not only do they have the Chem-Thrower but you can begin getting a bit more up close and personal with the Ravager too...

Veer-Myn Heavy Chem Thrower

The Chem-Thrower does what it says on the tin. It throws chemicals across the battlefield to make your life a melting pool of misery. I think the design is quite neat and I love that they've actually got another Veer-Myn as part of the team checking the ranges for the operator.

Veer-Myn Ravager

The Ravager is another interesting addition to the Veer-Myn in that he looks like more of a close combat monster. Armed with that deadly drill he'll be powering forwards to make mince-meat of whatever he comes into contact with and the side arm is simply there for a bit of back up.

Of the two facial designs above I would prefer the unmasked version I think simply because it makes him look more menacing!

Big Ol' Beasts!

On the side of the not forgotten Plague in Deadzone we have something bigger than the burly beast you would have seen in your first starter pack. Meet the Plague Beast in all its angry glory...

Plague Beast

He comes with even more spikes, even more muscles and I can only imagine how interesting he is going to be trying to paint him up. I would love to see someone paint these up as if there is another layer of skin and muscle moving underneath the first one. Add to that some ichor and slime to give him that brutal look and you have one nasty creature.

Asterians Draw Their Blades

The Asterians aren't to be left out of the Deadzone fun as they have a new character coming their way, the Kalyshi. These warriors follow a very different path from others in the Asterian race and they have slowly but surely been spreading their world across the systems...

Asterian Kalyshi

I like the design once again and I think they've done a great job with the concept art. It's a little bit as if Game of Thrones met Avatar and hopefully the final pose is a bit more animated with her swinging that huge volge around with both hands.

What do you think of all the new stuff coming your way for Deadzone?
