Mantic Games Begins DreadBall Xtreme Countdown!

A countdown and a mass of different sneak previews have emerged on the internet over the past few days and weeks in the run up to Mantic Games' DreadBall Xtreme. Have you been keeping up with all the information?
"It’s nearly time – DreadBall Xtreme is just around the corner! Xtreme is DreadBall’s evil twin, a nasty, underground sport that’s easy on the rules and heavy on the violence. Teams duke it out across a cluttered makeshift arena, ducking past stacks of crates and hazardous equipment to score Strikes while bloodthirsty fans cheer from the sidelines. Wealthy Sponsors bring players together with promises of fame and wealth or threats of pain and death."
It all sounds very cool and the countdown on the GCPS Central Infosphere shows that Xtreme is coming to Kickstarter this very week! Each day a hidden image will be leaked out onto the interweb by nefarious supporters of this Xtreme version of DreadBall so keep an eye out.

Sounds like someone has been re reading Mean Arena from their 2000AD back issues from the 80’s

Quite the busy time for Fantasy Football kickstarters with first Slaughterball and now Dreadball Extreme. While I like Dreadball a lot, I think the Slaughterball box just offers that much more stuff for its price.
Def tempted to back… though already got everything from the last KS – most of which is still in the “to paint” pile… not sure if I want to end up with another twelve teams to paint – hoping they do something different than just expanding the number of teams as the KS grows 🙂
New Dreadball, more action, loads of factions? Count me in!
