Attention Ben and fans of all things dwarven - Durgin Paint Forge has announced their Kickstarter launch date for their fantastic dwarves we looked at recently.
The Iron Crows & Other Dwarves of Kazhuk Izril will launch on March 20th, so mark it on your calendars so you don't miss it! They have also created a project page on Facebook to keep you up to speed on the upcoming KS.
The more I see of these guys the more I like. The dwarves are full of character and will undoubtedly make a brilliant addition to a fantasy army or collection. The minis will be 32mm, which I love, to be able to capture all the bearded dwarven goodness you can imagine.
I was totally impressed with the render images for these little guys, but the painted piece absolutely blew me away.

I’m not into dwarfs but these are pretty amazing. They would be fantastic for RPGs or any fantasy game.
I liked your comment even though you said you are not normally into dwarfs and this is usually cause for me to question both your sanity and your “likeability” . You reedeemed yourself with the “pretty amazing” part, which indeed they are . Try not to slip up again ………… 😉

They are Dwarfs, real Dwarfs, Dwarfy Dwarfs. I want them. I want them in for the Dwarfiest places I have ever Dwarfed. Damn fine Dwarfs those Dwarfs. Dwarf me, Dwarf me now, for only these Dwarfs can Dwarf me like that for they are reek of Dwarfiness. I’m in, bad, real bad, they have scatched a Dwarfy nerve in me that only be sated these 8 dwarfs (and their dog … whoose a good boy?) . Lol! I’d say, be strong! But hell, sometimes you just have to show your sensitive side and express your need for the dwarfiest dwarves that ever dwarfed. 😉
I am sorry I got out hand Dawn, but the sheer Dwarfitude of the Dwarfiness did something to my Dwarf-loving mind. It won’t happen again. ….. but damn, they ARE the Dwarfiest Dwarfs that have ever Dwarfed…… sigh 🙂

Really nice sculpts, but looking at them makes me realize the real reason that there are so few female dwarfs: just look at all of those ginormous pumpkin heads and do the maternity math.
