Splendor Gets Tense In Duel Release This November

Things are getting a bit more tense and cutthroat for the Renaissance merchants in Splendor! Asmodee is gearing up for their release of Splendor Duel, bringing new mechanics and a fresh fight for prestige this November.

Splendor is a wonderful title, a game of merchants travelling to shops to rake in gem mines to earn the most prestige and become incredibly wealthy, due to your success. Now developing into a one-on-one duel, building on the original, Splendor Duel will feature new tactics and rules to account for the new player count, which will bring new complex additions to winning.
With now three different unique winning conditions, players will now have the addition of abilities on certain cards to elongate the round and provide some bonuses for each involved merchant.

Alongside the tweaks to cards to account for the tense fight for prestige, there is a new shiny addition of a Pearl resource, new game components, a brand new board, and Privilege figurines to add to your wealth. Splendor Duel is ready to be released this November, providing a fun head-to-head, mean and intense merchant charismatic battle in under 30 minutes, and just before Christmas.
