I think while it is true that everything costs more with inflation, my hope is that Backstage is growing slowly reducing the need for a price rise.  If it does happen though, I hope it would be something more modest like rounding up to £4, or maybe £4.50.  Going straight up to £5 feels like a large rise (it is a third more) and is that sort of number that puts people off as it doesn’t feel like pocket change anymore.

£4 would be roughly a 10% price rise, so the equivalent of adding 10% more subscribers.  You can still call it ‘the price of a pint’ without raising eyebrows.
