That was the reply posted to an EU backer with a very high shipping cost. I have not had a reply and don’t expect one. Fortunately I am in a position to just chalk this up to experience and no serious harm done.

If people are facing a serious problem then they should put in a refund with their credit card company. CGL are failing to provide the basic details to justify the shipping charges, so if they won’t do that they need to give the money back.

Mythic failed because they were running multiple KS projects and using the money from one to pay for the previous ones. What might be called a pyramid scheme. The worst that will happen to CGL is they get a lot of stock to push in to retail. Sure it will hit them but Battletech is a cash cow so I don’t see them failing, unless they are on shaky ground already.
