Pendraken Miniatures has been showing off some of their new MDF kits which you can use alongside your Late Medieval 10mm armies. Siege battles are some of the most fun games to play out and now you've got some Siege Towers and Trebuchets to play with!

Siege Tower #1 - Pendraken Miniatures

The Siege Tower is also supplied alongside a set of crew and stands at around 80mm in height making it a dominating piece of kit to drop onto the battlefield. As well as having the well-protected frontage it also comes with a fully open back for your soldiers to rush up as they near the walls of your foe's castle.

You could put a couple of stands of miniatures on each of the floors here to show which soldiers are rushing up the ladders to try and battle their way across the walls. If you don't think that manpower is good enough to get these towers into place, you could also maybe lash some horses to the front of it too.

Protecting these Siege Towers as they are pushed slowly towards the walls, you've also got the Trebuchet kit which is also scaled to 10mm of course.

Trebuchet #1 - Pendraken Miniatures

The main frame of the Trebuchet is here and comes with 10mm crew but Pendraken has said that you'll need to do a bit of hobby to complete the kit. All it needs is a bit of rope threaded through the structure and then a sling for the rocks you're firing at your opponents.

Are you liking the look of these nice pieces of siege equipment? Siege battles are cool to play out but they take a lot of effort to get to the tabletop in 28mm. In 10mm, however, when everything is a lot smaller and easier to get finished it could be a much more common occurrence!

Do you reckon you'll be checking these out?
